A meeting was held between Muhammad Humair Karim, Secretary, Economic Affairs Division (EAD)/ Pakistan’s Acting Governor to Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) Board of Governors, and H. E. Sultan Al-Marshad, CEO of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), during the ISDB Annual Meetings in Baku, Azerbaijan. 

Secretary EAD thanked the SFD CEO for its great support to Pakistan’s development since the last many decades. The CEO SFD appreciated Pakistan’s very positive role in contributing to regional peace. 

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the ongoing SFD’s development portfolio in Pakistan, and also discussed further support from SFD to major projects in Pakistan’s Railway sector, IT sector and construction of large dams.
